WORLD-RENOWNED SCHOLARS

The 2015 CASL Consortium will bring together five groups of researchers from around the country: linguists who study sign language; researchers who study communicative abilities in autism; scholars who have autism themselves; and researchers who have studied the use of sign language among deaf individuals with autism; and interested Academy members who can contribute novel insights to this new area of inquiry.

29 expert researchers and other academics will contribute to the Conversation on Autism and Sign Language at the symposium, with 18 of these experts returning from the 2014 CASL conference.
